Zombie Run 5k
The Zombie Run 5k is a run/walk fundraiser for the EPBA. In this 5k, you not only have to keep track of your breathing......but you need to keep an eye out for the zombies on the trail. Funds raised go towards various donations we give throughout the year. These can range from donating for a local youth to attend a sports camp to a donation to a local non-profit in need. These funds also help us to put on the movies in the park community events.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, and executors waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages against the Emporia Police Benefit Association, City of Emporia, Emporia Police Department, race officials, volunteers, and sponsors for any injuries suffered by me in this event. I certify that I am in good physical condition to participate in a running event. I understand that race officials reserve the right to pull any competitor from this race due to any physical problem. Disclaimer: Runners may be exposed to severe weather conditions including ice, sleet, snow, and freezing temperatures. This event is being held in the evening and the course may not be well lit. Footing may be hazardous if any of these conditions are present.
